It has lost a lot of popularity because of a more innovative and modernized prison-escape game, known as Jailbreak. The update changes all of the sounds in the game, except for the prison door opening. Prison Life's last major update was on March 7, 2019.
The day prior, the game could be seen having no floor, leaving players to fall through the map upon joining.
